The ongoing development of
digital information technology certainly isn't as smooth as you would expect it to be. This is because certain functions and features are compensated for performance and stability, not to mention security and interactivity. But what if such functions of increased performance and interactivity are the features compensated for absolutely nothing? Plus, what if the developers of such an application ignore the people who clamor for redesign and redevelopment of the said program?
Well, this is what certainly happened to Macromedia and
Flash Player 6. You see, this Flash Player version encounters problems if it tries to access anything with Flash streaming content. Of course, this would either give your computer an unscheduled system crash or a decrease in speed and performance. The problem is that when a Flash stream is canceled, it just resumes downloading the stream without the functional control of the user. This would evidently result in slow performance of both Flash Player and the computer's system. Thus, accessing another Flash streams while continuously downloading the prior Flash stream would not only slow down your internet connection capabilities, but could also crash your computer's system.
Macromedia has totally ignored this issue, and web developers and Flash stream enthusiasts alike are clamoring for redesign and redevelopment of the program. This would have to come from a new Flash Player version, but what if it doesn't? Are we to wait for them to redevelop the program and get rid of this annoying bug, or do something with the program itself then ask for support from the Macromedia team?
